Telmisartan plus Amlodepine (TELMA AM) is a good and safe combination. The other tablet mentioned is Losartan + Hydrochlothiazide. That too is good. Doctor must have changed to newer drug for getting better control. But if she is not comfortable with that, she can take the earlier combination. Thanks.

Please continue amlodipine same 5 mg dose as your bp is just controlled. People with diabetes need strict control of bp as high bp and diabetes both can cause proteinuria (protein leak in urine).
