Dear lybrate-user,
ensure max protein, even though it offers the convenience of a ready-to-drink shake and contains 30 grams of protein there is 1 gram of sugar per serving. It would be better to use a natural source of proteins like soya, egg white, fish or chicken. All commercial protein powders have some sugar in them
try the following diet pattern

Neurologist is not at all related to your brother's condition. Taking MRI brain once is not wrong, though it rarely shows some findings. You can consult your psychiatrist and ask for counselling from a clinical psychologist. All the best.

Try to restrict the intake of salt alongwith increased intake of fruits and vegetables and daily exercise.
You can try alternative medicine for a couple of months. If nothing works then I am sorry to say, but you have to take medicine otherwise there may be harmful effects to your vital organs like heart, brain and kidney.

Yes dear, your P .S. A level is in Rising scale. Normal level is less than four. But one can't diagnose Cancer prostate only on the basis of p.s.a level, so to confirm you must undergo for M.R.I lower abdomen and pelvis and repeat biopsy. Let me tell you I had treated same case in stage one to two with an alternative one drug therapy while working abroad and he is disease free. If you feel contact me through Lybrate with appointment.
