Hexicof ls has antihistaminics and levosalbutamol and mucolytics. Since you r already on and inhalers montek fx which has antihistaminics already and bronchodilators I will not advice using a substitute. Its better to find plain mucolytics of some other brand.

1. Do Warm saline gurgling and steam inhalation with karvol plus inhalant capsule 2-3 times daily
.2. put otrivin nasal drop one drop thrice daily.
3.Take Viscodyne D syrup 2 tsf 2-3 times daily if you have dry cough or viscodyne syrup 2 tsf three times daily if you have cough with sputum
.4. If no relief, you have to take antibiotic.
5.Consult doctor for advice

You should ask your doctor to add beta blocker drug as your antihypertensive if he consider it as good for you. It will control your heart rate.

Your father requires radical change in his treatment as hes elderly and these medices even though are not doing him any good on the contrary may be harmful as Pioglitazone in high doses may increase fracture risk and other problems. Also with advance diabetes these medicines may not work at all.
