Take a detailed diet plan with a dietitian. You diet should include more fresh fruits, vegetables, fibres, proteins and complex carbohydrate, less of sugar, simple carbohydrates and fried food. Hello, thanks for the query.
For taking telmisartan with amlodipine, there is no specific instruction as to be taken only in the morning or before food or with food. Only thing is to take it regularly at a specific time every day. Similarly, fasting also will have no effect on taking it in the morning. Thanks.

Hello, thanks for the query.
Bp 170/80 mm hg is showing very high systolic bp. This should be around 130 mm hg. It is clear that taking only telmisartan 40 mg, is not sufficient. There has to be another drug added for better control of the systolic pressure. So it is better to consult her physician and get a specific prescription. There are many options available. In this communication we are supposed to give only general guidelines, no prescriptions can be given. Thanks.

Therefore, unlees all the information is made available it s difficult to give any opinion. However, your glucose levels are fair...more
