That is not the right combination for long term treatment. Anxit i.e. Alprazolam can produce severe unwanted side effects. Consult a psychiatrist, and he/she may give ssri, snri or tca group of medications which act on the cause for anxiety, also behavioral methods need to be incorporated.

Decrease the dose very slowly like 1/4 at one time every 10 days. If this way also doesn't help consult a psychiatrist nearby or online so detail discussion and evaluation is done and accordingly alternative options can be suggested.

I would not advice plain alprazolam (restyl), since it is habit forming if taken for a prolonged period. Please consult with a psychiatrist if you have any sleeping issues and those can be easily treated with other medicines which are given for a short course. There are also other medicines which can be used on sos basis for sleeping, if, yes, you can take it with a glass of milk.

Everyday you do some exercises (like simple physical exercises, faith on god, prayers in the morning, engage in certain activities you like most, interact with your friends and relations. Take medicines prescribed by your doctor regularly. I suggest you to go for yoga and meditation for the same. Its our body. And hence it knows better how to deal with any problem. No outer medicine , therapy will work if your inner zeal won't work. Remember over dependence on any medicine makes you their slave.
Get well soon
