It seems as a parent you are suffering from lot of food fads. Cough and cold in young children are not related to food. I know that it is hard to turn around the deep seated belief that some cold food is causing him coughing and sneezing. Guava, Amla and other citrus fruits are great source of vitamin c that will protect him from seasonal cough cold.
If milk cause bloating it is extremely necessary to give him other milk products viz curd, paneer, cheese etc to get adequate calcium.more
