Dr. ma'am, I have had consulted 2 psychiatrist for my anxiety depression and an cardiologist for palpitations. I am taking concor-5 mg, spenzo-0.5 mg, with paxonil ls, as I am taking clonotril-0.5 mg from last 2 years but other doctor told me to replace paxonil ls with serta-25 mg. I shall be highly obliged if you tell me which is the best option to take. Thanks.

Your feeling of blurred vision can be due to anxiety itself. Get your intraocular pressure and visual field and acuity tested too. Good luck.

I always feel the fear of getting heart attack from last 8 years and started getting panic attacks so I started spenzo 1 mg from last 8 years but my anxiety increased so no I started daxid 50. I always had a hyper acidity and heart burn every day but now after taking daxid 50 I do not feel acidity no heart burn why I am not feeling acidity as I feel like stomach feel heavy but I do not feel acidity or stomach pain why?

I am consulting a psychiatrist for my anxiety problem from last 1 month. Doctor prescribed me paxonil plus {paroxetine (25 mg)+ clonazepam (0.5 mg)} and placida {flupentixol (0.5 mg)+ melitracen (10 mg)} after 37 days, last day doctor cut some medicine and give paxonil and spenzo. Will I be having withdrawal symptoms as I discounted clonazepam and melitracen? If yes how many days will it last?

If your doctor has suggested to cut down on the dosage of your medicines then it is important you follow the instructions (which are based on your reporting of symptoms and doctor's evaluation). Never self prescribe! and if you feel and find it difficult with the dosage please inform your doctor immediately rather than adjusting medicines on your own.

I am a patient of anxiety disorder from last 10 years and also a patient of high blood pressure. I am being treated by neuropsychiatric from last 10 years for which I am taking medications such as Valprol CR-500 twice a day, clonotril1 thrice a day, spenzo 0.5 twice a day, spenzo only from last 3 months, copax sr 1 mg once a day, zimor 10 mg at night. For blood pressure I am taking Amtas AT once a day and last year Telma H was added. Search from last few days my pulse rate is between 9200 before that it was between 75-87. Also from last few days my blood sugar level in the morning is very low that is around 72 O 75 after having a cup of tea. Does all the hills things are happening due to the medication which I am taking or something else. My cardiologist says that pulse rate is ok and there is nothing to worry about this is all due to your anxiety and depression medicines which you are taking. Kindly help me sir as I am in a lot of confusion not knowing what to do. My age is 44 years and my weight has also increased around 10-12 kgs Regards Rajnish.

I am woman of 63 years suffering from high blood pressure since 1997. My blood pressure since nov 2014 is not stable and feeling headic and chakkar. At present I take telma-ct 40 & spenzo 0. 5 after breakfast and tonact-tg 10 & met-xl 25 after dinner. My test report of ecg, echo, sonography, mri of brain and t3, t4, tsh are normal. Only cholesterol test done on 04/04/15 is high as below:-total cholesterol 300, hdl-51, ldl-203, triglyrides -268, vldl-53. 58 kindly advice.

Hi, my brother has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. He has not been taking any medicines for the past one and half years. He got married 3 months ago and since a week his symptoms have relapsed. He is non responsive, emotionless, has no clue of what or where he is and keeps laughing to himself in frequent intervals. A psychiatrist prescribed him rezidone - ls twice a day, nitaz - 10 mg Once a day and was given an injection of spenzo Depot 40 5 days back. But the symptoms have not reduced at all and he continues to be the same without any changes. Are there any chances he will recover and how many days does it take to show Improvements. Relapses and remissions are common in schizophrenia. As long as he is in proper medication he will be alright but whenever you stop medication the symptoms will reappear if it reappears it will take some time to recover. So don't stop medication and wait patiently till improvement.

I have some General Anxiety problem that was effecting my examinations. The I consulted with a doctor and started to take medicines (Serta 100 and Qutan 50 each one once a day) and beside this I started sessions with a Psychologist. The doctor asked me to continue the medicine for a month and also after a month if I was unable to get appointment with him and he will reduce the doses step by step. Four days earlier from the today I visited my Psychologist and she declared me as fit and suggested me to ask the doctor to withdraw the medication with his proper guidance. But now I have some situation and that I can't go to visit the the doctor. Can you please help me by telling me how to withdraw the medication? (I am taking these medicines for almost 50 days, before that I was taking sertima 100 and spenzo 50 for around 1 year).

My age is 50 and I have problem in hearing, as per pta report right ear has profound hearing loss (93. 33dbhl), left ear has moderate sensorineural hearing loss (51. 6dbhl) private clinic recommended usage of digital hearing aid (anervit plus med) and govt doctor recommended meds (ofloxacin opthalmic soln, zincostar, gcobal 500, flunil 60) for 15 days and told not to use hearing aid I am also on psychiatric medication (flunil 60, serenace 10, pacitane 2 mg, spenzo depot 20) my query is in my 50's should I go for hearing aid, if yes it should be digital or analog?
