Sir,
I would like to suggest test like c peptide assay & gad antibody to confirm the type of diabetes. Their is a distant possibility of lada. Insulin is the only option if such is the case. I also would like to know whether you are obese and how diabetes was suspectes and diagnosed initially.

Fasting and post-lunch values are fine. Post dinner is ok, but could be showing rebound hypoglycemia due to a high carbohydrate meal. Swelling in both the limbs indicates that you have a problem that concerns the entire body as opposed to a local problem which will lead to a local swelling only (like swelling in one leg only).
