Keratitis generally occurs due to infection by virus or bacteria sometime this may be due to autoimmune disorder also..herpes simplex,, varicela zosta are the virus mostly causes it..it generally resolves in few days..bt if it's due to other than bacterial or viral cause then it can go long...antibacterial drops can be useful
