I would strictly advise you to only take medicines which have been given by your psychiatrist, that is arip mt 20 mg and daxid 50 mg. Do not take any ayurvedic supplements alongwith the medicines.
You can take seacod liver omega 3 capsules on regular basis, they are fine, other than this, I will not advise you for anything else.

Dear Kunti kumari,
Sorry to hear that your mother is diagnosed with dementia. Daxid will be helpful to some extent - but not to the level of how she was few years back. Depending on the type of dementia, few other tablets may be given so that she will not worsen in her behaviour and memory.

These are the common side-effects of taking Daxid: Common Side Effects
Delayed ejaculation
Erectile dysfunction
Indigestion
Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping)
Low sexual desire
Nausea
Tremor
Diarrhea
Increased sweating
Loss of appetite
But if you exercise regularly and seek the help of a counselor, you need not worry too much because you can offset the effects and even come off of the medication in time.

The forgetfulness is not accountable by any of the listed medicines, depression in itself can cause memory disturbances that go away once your chemical disturbances improve with antidepressants.
The forgetfulness that you have mentioned could be due to initial body adjustments to the medicines and also many a times the slight sedation caused by such medicines can make us feel amnestic.
