About Sefdin 1000 MG Injection

Sefdin 1000 MG Injection helps in managing bacterial infections such as pneumonia, skin infections, kidney as well as urinary tract infections. The medication works by killing the bacteria, thus inhibiting the infection from spreading in the body. The medication is administered by an injection into a vein or a muscle, as instructed by your doctor. It is also available in powder form that can be mixed with liquid and also in a pre-mixed liquid form.

The dosage of Sefdin 1000 MG Injection depends on certain factors such as your overall health condition, the infection you are suffering from and your body’s reaction to the first dose.         Amikacin

        You may experience nausea or vomiting, increased or decreased urination, sudden weight gain, and fluid retention if these medicines are used together.         Ethinyl Estradiol

        Cholera Vaccine

        You should avoid taking Cholera vaccine for atleast 14 days after taking Sefdin 1000 MG Injection. Usage of other antibiotics and vaccines should be reported to the doctor.

        Furosemide

        You may experience nausea or vomiting, increased or decreased urination, sudden weight gain, and fluid retention if these medicines are used together. This interaction is more likely to occur in the elderly population with preexisting kidney disease. Regular kidney function tests are to be performed and appropriate dose adjustments or replacement of the medicine should be made under the doctor's supervision.

        Colitis

        Impaired Liver Function

        You must exercise caution while using this medication if you have any liver disease or a family history of liver disease.

        Seizure Disorders

        Patients suffering from seizures disorder or a family history of seizures should not use Sefdin 1000 MG Injection. IN such cases, one should prefer some other safer alternative of this injection.
