Usually laxatives more than two weeks is not advisable. First and most important thing is correcting digestion . If the digestion is okay then chance of constipation is very less. Ayurveda has very effective herbal medicines to correct digestion and preventing constipation. In some people, any underline heath conditions such as piles , fistulae etc also causes constipation. Dont take any laxatives without knowing the real cause of it. Thank you

First of all, you must understand that 2 things (constipation and straining) are the factors responsible for anal fissure. So you must control over these two factors to prevent recurrence.
Secondly, it is important to treat early to each attack of fissure. It breaks the cycles of repeated attacks. Thirdly, you can undergo surgery if you are not getting relieved with medications. It is a safe surgery under safe hands. However, I believe that surgery is the last option available.

you can take medicines for thyroid..tab. thyronorm 150 mcg before meal.and for ibs you cut out such items as carbonated beverages, vegetables — especially cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower — and raw fruits.Fiber supplements. Looks more like fecal evacuation disorder. Laxatives containing polyethylene glycol (peg) are good for temporary relief. If its a long term problem, further evaluation with anorectal manometry is advisable.
