About Rapisone 150Mg Capsule Sr

Rapisone 150Mg Capsule Sr is a medicine that works by relaxing both vascular smooth muscles and skeletal muscles, and demonstrates a variety of effects such as improvement of circulation, reduction of myotonia and suppression of the pain reflex. It improves tinnitus and dizziness associated with certain other disorders. It is also used as a supporting drug during initial stages of subsequent rehabilitative therapy.

You may experience shock and anaphylactoid reactions as side effects to this medicine. Other side effects include rash, anaemia, pruritus, sleepiness, headache, insomnia, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, anorexia, constipation, diarrhoea, urinary retention or incontinence.

Rapisone 150Mg Capsule Sr should be carefully administered in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any medication, or with liver disorders. This medicine is not considered safe for use in pregnant women, women who are breastfeeding and in young children.

In adults, the usual dose of Rapisone 150Mg Capsule Sr is 50–150 mg daily, in divided doses, after meals. However, the dosage can be adjusted by your doctor depending on factors such as patient age, severity of symptoms and response to treatment. Older people are recommended to start the medication with lower doses.
