Hello what were your symptoms or what are still your symptoms. As if you say depression there are other medication that are better for depression than qutan.

My father 57 years old had accident and suffered head injury. After ct scan found he had subarachnoid hemorrhage. He was in hospital for 10 days. After some days of discharge from hospital he started showing aggression and verbal abuse. He use to sleep for only 1 or 2 hours in 24 hours. Doctor prescribed qutan sr100 in night and qutan sr50 in day. After giving qutan sr100 in night he was like he is unconscious and even after trying to wake him up he was sleepy and did not woke up. Should we reduce the dosage of qutan sr 50?

Dear user, medicine never get you out from ocd and depression. Its your will power that will help you. Don’t get dependent on medicines, change your life style, add some activities to your routine. Do yoga, exercises, walks etc. You need regular counseling sessions (CBT). Call me and discuss all the things in detail, tc.

I am 34 yrs old male severely suffering from sleepless nights since last 1 yr. I have consulted phycratic doctor. My doctor recently prescribed dichorate er 750+500 solian 300 sizopin 50 but rhe side effects of sizopin 50 is that the whole next day I have to sleep and when I wake up I have my head hanged on I want sound sleep and fresh every morning please advice with medicine I also have tremendous itiching problem through the body but sometimes in the whole day I commit that I have taken 90 pill of ayurvedic medicine for weight gain and muscle gain when I was 19 yrs old and after that I had tremendous problem with fat contents of food. I mean to say whnever I ate fatty food ihad problems like head hanged on, constipation etc I continued for 5 yrs medicines I have taken: qutan, qutipin, lithosun, diva od, ativan mg (but no effects on sleep)

Insomnia is not an illness by itself-usually is a symptom of some underlying disorder/ problem which needs to be managed.
Symptomatic treatment with sleeping pills is not a solution. Please meet an experienced psychiatist

Hello Doctor, My Grandpa is suffering from severe constipation. He is using Anti Psychotic medications like Risperidone and Quetiapine for his audible hallucinations. Normal laxatives like Milk of Magnesia is not working for him now a days. When a more powerful laxative is given, he is experiencing uncontrolled diarrhea. To control this diarrhea, he is having eldoper drug. After two days, he is suffering again from constipation. His stomach is very rigid and rarely he is experiencing urinary retention problem and using Furosemide for relief. He suffering a lot from these stomach problems. Please see the below further details: Age: 85 years, Weight: 95 Kg Height: 5.6 Ft Current Medical problems: Hypertension, Constipation, Insomnia, Knee Pains, Audible Hallucinations, Occasionally Urinary retention. Current Medications: Qutan, Alprazolam, Acemiz-MR, Risdone, Telmikind-H, Zincovit, Occasionally Furosemide. Could you please suggest a long term solution for his constipation. Thanks

Eat a high-fiber diet. Get insoluble and soluble fiber. Limit foods that are high in fat. Choose lean meats. Incorporate probiotics into your diet. Eat on schedule. Stay hydrated.

Dear sir my question from neurological department that alzheimer or dementia patient can take qutan 100 mg tablet or not I read about qutan 100 mg tablet that dementia patient cannot take this medicine because it increases heart disease like heart failure or breathing problem. "As" per your clinical history is concerned i may say that [qutan-100]is a psychiatric medication and it has no connection with alzheimer disease and dementia is a part of this disorder.

Dr. I have bipolar disorder and I was taking qutan 50 and divaa 750 in night for last 4 months now the psychiatrist has advised me to take qutan 50 and divaa 500 two times (morning and night) with tetrafol plus od. I don't have sexual desire I don't get arousal and I also don't get orgasm (whenever perform). I am diabetic and I have thyroid too (for which I am under treatment). Please advise me best medicine for my problem which have no side effects and addiction.

Dear lybrate-user, bipolar disorder causes serious problems in your life. Whereas sexual problems can be discussed and adjusted with your partner. Please give a thought to it.
Sexual problems can be due to diabetes either partially or fully. Discuss with your physician about it.
There are no medicine without side effect. You have to weigh the effect vs side effect. Divaa is not an addicting medicine. You need to take it for your life just like diabetes and thyroid medicines.
