I am experiencing frequent urination since last 5 days now. This started to happen after I introduced kutki powder and basil seeds to my daily routine. Neither do I feel have any burning sensation. Urine quantity is even normal. Feels like going every 45 mins or even less sometimes. I consulted a bhms doc in my locality and he gave me norfloxacin and tinidazole tabs and himalaya renalka syrup. It some what did good after 3 days of use but as the meds are exhausted the situation has come back. Not sure what's causing it, I recently made changes to my diet and consume 180 gms protein a day. 7 egg whites in the morning, 300 gms cooked boneless chicken plus 1 cucumber, 1 tomato & 1 carrot as a part of salad and the same menu is repeated in the dinner. One litre cow milk throughout the day. I was on pexep cr 12.5 for 20 days due to general anxiety 10 days ago. Could any of these cause a frequent urination. How do I know what's actually going on?

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. Frequency of urine usually increases when there is urinary infection or a person has high blood glucose. There are other causes also but these two are commonest. So please get routine urine examination along with microscopy to see if there is any infection. Plus also get you blood glucose (fasting, pp & hba1c%) checked. You have not mentioned the age, so no idea abit it. However, with a bmi of 42 kgs /sq meter you are already having...more

Hello doctor. I have been living out of my town in different cities for studies and job for last 10 years .i have a gastric issue of food poisoning 3-4 times in a month .because I often have to eat street food and the food in hotels, restaurants. Because I don't have any cooking facility at my room. So whenever I visited local doctors for gastric problems, doctor used to give me combination of two drugs ofloxacin 200 and ornidazole 500 .this combination worked best for me for 2-3 years. But later it stopped working. Later doctor started giving me combination of ofloxacin200 and tinidazole500. Now this combination also not working. Because I took it for another 2-3 years. Moreover doctor tried rifaximin 400 .but it could not help me. I want to ask you what other drugs are available for my issue. Now i'm getting semi loose stools and feeling of fever and chills. I'm expecting medicines for my current issue.

There are multiple causes for your current health problem
treat the root cause and not the disease or symptoms you need to get a comprehensive blood test with all inflammatory markers, vitamin and mineral levels to find out your overall health status which your current doctor has not done .you cannot treat what you cannot see
the medical history you have provided is not detailed enough to make a proper diagnosis ,no test results, no occupation, diet, lifestyle ,sleep, stress history .gene...more

Hello Sir My 18 year son was detected for 10 mm gallbladder stone on 17 May 18 when USG done for upper abdominal pain. The medical specialist advised to take UDCA 300 mg for 30 days to break and removal of stone in natural ways and need to reviewed by surgical specialist. However he had continuous pain in the upper abdominal area with mild fever and heavy head on 27 May 18 and shown to the surgical specialist. The following medicines have been prescribed by him with advice to prepare my son for surgically removal of gallbladder. The medicines are Ofloxacin 400 mg BD, tinidazole 500 mg BD, combiflam TDS and Pantop 40 mg BD for -5 days. He taking these medicines for last two days. Now he feels better with no pain. I want to know that is it necessary to remove the gall bladder at this tender age? What would be the after effect of removal of gall bladder in long run? I came to know that there is homeo medicine called Berberis vulgaris mother tincture which can be taken three times daily of 1drops for naturally removal of this stone. What is the success rate of this medicine? Now my question is whether to administer homeo medicine first and wait for some time to see the result before surgically removal of gallbladder or should I go for removal of gall bladder.

Hello. Gall stones can be treated successfully with the use of homoeopathic remedies. the drug which u mentioned is one of them.but it's not the only one.there r many other which ll definitely work on gall stone. removal of gall bladder can n b thought if persistent fever, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain is there. otherwise homoeopathic remedies have good scope in it.

1. Slight nagging discomfort on right side, a few inches to the right (below rib cage) mostly after food - accompanied by excessive gas thru mouth, belching and bloating -loose edges flaky stools 2/3 times a day. Weak digestion and gas acidity has been a problem since the last one year or so. 2. Blood tests and ESR test done recently are okay as advised by the Pathologist per the reports (can share) 3. Some traces of E. Histolytica were detected in stool test 2 years ago. At the time I had taken Tinidazole / Tiniba 500 for 5 days. However, apparently I was not completely cured of the bacterial infection. Could the symptoms I have be due to gastritis or intestinal infection that has not been completely cured yet? I was recently advised to take Norflox TZ 500 twice for 5 days along with one tablet Rabee Lin the morning on an empty stomach. Also for the cysts removal, another doctor on Lybrate advised Bendy 400. I have taken Bendy 400 twice each after a gap of 15 days. I think Bendy 400 - albendazole. I think Bendy 400 helps. How often can I take Bendy 400, can this be taken for 5 days each night to get rid of the cysts. Please advise. And would you recommend any B12 or multivitamins to be taken with the antibiotics? Seek your advice and prescription, Thanks.
