Believe at age above 60, even systolic blood pressure till 150 is acceptable. Once in a week bp monitoring, mild reduction in salt intake (after monitoring electrolytes balance), and then periodic review with your doctor should help. If you have been using propranolol fro some time, then it is clinical judgement, but pls don't suddenly start it at 80 mg/day, as it can cause sudden fall in blood pressure.

Betacap is known to cause erectile dysfunction in few patients, in view of your heart rate it was probably prescribes to you, but you can consult your treating doctor for change in medication. Also the cause of your high BP and fast heart rate should be thoroughly investigated, please consult a cardiologist regarding the same.

Dear Ashit,
Good that you are feeling better. Slowly try and stop clonotril. Even without that, you can sleep better since your day time activities improved.

Both line of treatment should run in parallel for overall results. You can take all kinds of nuts and dry fruits. That has nothing to do with your medication. Take plenty of fruits also.
