Dear Mona,
Heart rate and bp will increase when you are anxious. They are normal response through autonomic nervous system to protect us from the source of fear. Ciplar reduces the heart rate and lowers bp. It helps in reducing the anxiety feelings. You can talk to your doctor about restarting ciplar or plan to go for Jacobson's deep muscle relaxation or therapy or yoga and pranayama by non medical professionals.

I am not convinced with medicine you are taking other than thyroid hormone for hypothyroidism. These symptoms may be due to hypothyroidism but may be increased with ciplar LA and lonazep. Please consult a Physician.

Medicines tend to increase body weight, but it is possible to reduce and maintain weight. To lose weight, you need to minimise intake of outside/packed food and home food made of maida, sugar and oil. Eat 2-3 whole fruits before breakfast and a plate of salad before lunch and dinner. Exercise for at least 20 mins daily. This will help you lose weight naturally and gradually. All the best!

Dear Harish,
Ciplar 10 mg is safe if you don't have any asthma (yourself or family members.)
It is better to check your BP again after taking tablets.

"Walking is a good exercise too, as long as you don't have swelling in your knees or ankles, Gofnung adds. Also, Pilates or gentle yoga can improve core muscles and ease the back and hip pain that can be associated with hypothyroidism. Building muscle can help counter possible weight gain from an underactive thyroid.
