I am 42 years old male. Last week, my BP shoot up 150/90 in second time (first time shootup BP150/100 before four years back but did not took medicine and after excise my BP was normal 120/80). Dr. advice me test, In report my Uric Acid Serum level was 7.84 and Total Cholesterol level 263, Triglycerides 184, HDL 57, VLDL 37, LDL 169 and CRP (HS) 4.2. Other KFT, LFT, Lipo protein (a), Calcium, phosphorus, ECO and Hemograme are normal. Dr. advice me table TONACT 10 mg for cholesterol for 3 months and cardace h 2.5. What should I do for control BP and cholesterol?/

Health Query

I have passed urine in red color 3times during last 8days only in 3mornings. So I have visited urologist and he asked me to undergo tests complete urine analysis, xray kub, ultrasound kub and blood creatinine and the all test came in normal range but there is rbc in urine and 1 4mm stone in right kidney and he said it may not due to stone and he referred to nephrologist and he asked me go through 6 tests urine for protein/creatine ratio spot, serum calcium, serum phosphorus, uric acid, serum albumin, urine calcium/creatinine ratio those all came normal and he advised me to take two tablets q-ten (coenzyme, l-carnitine, vitamin e) and clear-nu (n acetylcysteine & taurine) tablets for 1month. What does he mean. Is these will show any side effects on me. Please help. At present I'm not getting urine in red color.

Doctor I have many problems, I want to sleep I am feeling tired and sleepy but I am not able to sleep cause sometimes I get a feeling of bloating, nausea, unable to breathe etc. I wake up all night I go to washroom all night this is what I do. I am also getting very tired even after doing my day to day work and face shortness of breath. I feel so tired and feel shortness of breath that I sometimes get cramps in my upper stomach or my back or shoulders. I got my blood reports my tlc is high ie 12, my uric acid is high, My RDW is high ie 16, my lymphocytes is low ie 19, my neut ie 7.70,rophils is high ie 10, my basophil is 0, my bilirubin total is high ie 1.24,bilirubin direct is ie 0.53,alt (sgpt) is high ie 48, lastly phosphorus is high ie 4.50. What should I do?

Hello, I have been diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis last year and I also have diabetes from the last 10 years. Now recently through tests, I got to know that I have acute pyelonephritis. Our doctor has given us antibiotics for 4 days and asked us to do the kft again. I just get the kft reports now and I am attaching it here. Please have a look at this. And help me with what should I do next. However, my diabetes is in control now my fasting glucose ranges between 80- 100 and random glucose level ranges between 140- 150. Kft -- urea - 94.90 mg/dl creatinine- 1.09 mg/dl uric acid - 5.40 mg/dl calcium total - 8.14 mg/dl phosphorus - 5.23 mg/dl alp - 178 u/l total protein - 6.70 g/dl albumin - 2.57 g/dl a: g ratio - 0.62 sodium - 131.93 meq/l potassium - 6.12 meq/l chloride - 106.00 meq/l.

83 years old weight 70 kg. Diabetic with resistant blood pressure for over 20 years. Also have sleep apnea last 6 years. With treatment everything under good control. About a year and a half back suddenly my diabetes became normal ,had to stop my medication. This lasted for one month. This has happened two times more with a gap of 3-4 months. This time this started 2 1/2 months back and continuing. I have stopped my medication.in fact this time I am eating a lot of fruits and eats like dosa idli etc. To keep sugar normal. I am a vegetarian except that I take 2 egg whites. I have stage 3 ckd gfr 57 and avoid taking high phosphorus foods. For diabetes I am taking amree plus an ayurvedic medicine. For bp olmesartan 20 mg, cilnidipine 10 mg, moxonodine 0.3 mg, and indipimide 1.5 mg.

This is usual story of long lasting diabetes. As ckd advances blood sugar becomes normal or even low as most of the antidiabetic medicines are excreted through kidney and pt feels that his diabetes is cured and he does not need medicine.
Please take care of your ckd under supervision of a nephrologist.

From last 2 days I am feeling a slight burning sensation at the tip of my penis while urinating. Also my urine is a little foamy, color is pale yellow. There is a little white discharge in my urine. My recent blood test reports I had done on 12th may 2020 is showing uric acid a little above higher limit:- 7.4 (normal:- 4.0 - 7.0)and albumin is 5.3 (normal:- 3.5 - 5.2 ). Rest everything is in normal range including glucose fasting, creatinine, calcium, phosphorus, bilirubin (total and direct), total protein, globulin, a/g ratio, sgpt (alt), sgot (ast) etc. Can uric acid level and albumin level be a reason for the above mentioned symptoms? If so what can be the treatment in terms of diet and medication?

Do not start any antibiotics without proper urine test. May be due to uti pyelonephritis kidney stone and may be acute glomerulonephritis

I have pain in both hands (3 inches above and below the elbows) and legs (5 inches above and below the knees). Not bone pain as I feel good if I try to restrict my blood flow. I always wear knee and elbow caps for pain relief. As far I remember i'm suffering from this pain for almost 13-14 years. Currently, i'm 20 years, i'm was being told it was due to the growing stage. Earlier I had vitamin d level 7 but now it is 30 but still, the pain is not gone. I have pain almost daily, I will feel lucky I don't have pain that particular day. If I walk for long or stand or play, or do something intense then the intensity of the pain will be unbearable sometimes due to pain I can't even sleep at night. In my test report, I have everything normal. Tests I have done so far are aso titre, anti-nuclear, cpr, hla b profile, anti-ccp, phosphorus, cpk, uric acid, calcium, glucose, vitamin d and b-12, ths, cbc, alkaline phosphate, potassium, ldh, magnesium.
