Hi lybrate-user
you can definitely try half a tablet although itâs a very mild dose.
Iâd suggest you get a consultation and change your medications.
There are several types and classes of medications available for depression and anxiety which will not have the side effects you mention.
You can try other medication combinations for the same.
Hope this helps

These drugs are important for your treatment and recovery. Instead of stopping on your own you should have consulted the doctor and described the side effects. You should have also combined medication with some counseling for the best results. Now you have lost that opportunity and because of your age, it is important to restart only with a medical prescription and evaluation. Do not self-medicate and also you have to be carefully monitored during use for exactly the reason you quit: the side ef...more

Cognitive dysfunction can possibly be attributed to both: your illness, as well as the medications you are taking. It is however essential that you take the medication as prescribed by your psychiatrist. Do not modify, alter, stop or change any medications on your own. The best thing would be to approach your treating doctor with this problem so that they can make any changes (if required) in your prescription.
