Hello
It will be highly beneficial for you if you would try combination therapy i.e. Medicines along with psychotherapy. Anxiety disorders require regular counselling sessions along with medecines. Try consulting a clinical psychologist for the same along with the treatment by the psychiatrist.

Dear user, it is always better to rule out ankylosing spondylitis as your mother has had it. Nothing wrong with getting an xray of your spine taken and consulted to rule it out. In case of vertigo, medications are different. Hence I would suggest you to follow up with an orthopedician/neurologist. If you found my answer helpful, please leave a positive feedback as it helps me with my practice. Thank you.
