These drugs are important for your treatment and recovery. Instead of stopping on your own you should have consulted the doctor and described the side effects. You should have also combined medication with some counseling for the best results. Now you have lost that opportunity and because of your age, it is important to restart only with a medical prescription and evaluation. Do not self-medicate and also you have to be carefully monitored during use for exactly the reason you quit: the side ef...more

Cognitive dysfunction can possibly be attributed to both: your illness, as well as the medications you are taking. It is however essential that you take the medication as prescribed by your psychiatrist. Do not modify, alter, stop or change any medications on your own. The best thing would be to approach your treating doctor with this problem so that they can make any changes (if required) in your prescription.

Dear user. I can understand. You are HEALTH ANXIOUS, it seems. Hypochondriasis is an Obsession with the idea of having a serious but undiagnosed medical condition. Health anxiety is not a serious mental disorder but without proper treatment the person affected could be depressed and continuously engaged in negative thoughts. I suggest online counseling, cognitive Behavior Therapy and Relaxation therapy. Take care.

Hi Xavier
I can understand you condition. i would say it's always logical to defy your parent's advise than to commit suicide. So i urge you to seek a psychiatric consultation despite the resistance from your parents. The best way is to make your parents understand your situation clearly, they might agree to help you, even if they don't, go for help. it's your own life first, if you are not well or not alive, there will be no meaning of listening to/or defying parents. At current situation y...more
