Dear Lybrate user
sorry to know about the condition of your father.
He is suffering from END STAGE RENAL DISEASE. Sometimes kidney transplant may not solve the problem.
He needs to have dialysis for increasing creatinine and pottasium levels.
Vomitings are due to uremia.
Blood percentage decreases in such cases. Transfusion of blood may be required during dialysis sessions.
Contact a dialysis centre who can do dialysis at an affordable price.
Hope for the best.

Hello
we need to figure out the cause of your renal dysfunction. Nodosis should be continued till a conclusion is reached as to why the creatinine has risen.
Regards.

Our daughter now aged 18 years was diagnosed with Bilateral Nephrocalcinosis in year 2010. Her creatinine level was 1.7 in 2010. She had enlarged kidneys with calcium deposition. Her kidney function has since then gradually receded. Following are here test results in 2018: •creatinine level has reached 4.3 •GFR around 15. •Hemoglobin keeps varying, now at 6.5. •Serum Iron is 21 µg/dl and saturation is 6% •PTH Intact is 415 pg/ml •Echo test and Liver Function Test are normal For low hemoglobin she is taking Iron supplements and also IV Iron drips along with Darbepoetin injections sometimes. Calcium supplements and Sodamint (bicarbonate tablets) are being advised by doctors. She was under medication for High BP, but its now under control. She does not show any kind of symptoms like Vomiting or Swellings as asked by Doctors. Doctors are now asking us to be prepared for Dialysis and kidney transplant in near future. We look forward to any feedback or information which can help us prevent Dialysis and Transplant by reducing her creatinine level and improving her Kidney function. Kindly revert with your positive feedback.

This disease leads to slow and Steady deterioration of kidney functions.
This is indicated by low hemoglobin and rise in creatinine, presently there is no such medication to improve renal function, we can support body with darbapoetin and other medications. If even with these supportive measures, she becomes symptomatic, need to take options of renal replacement therapy in future.

I think a complete course of ects with medication will make you feel better. If affordability is an issue am sure there are good medical colleges nearby where a psychiatry department can treat you at affordable cost of treatment.

Hi, I had upper body from past 3 months and went to a doctor. He conducted tests and my Vitamin D Came out as 23.6 ng/ml and my CRP level was 94 mgm/l and ERS was 7 mm/1st hour. I developed severe neck pain and shoulder swelling 20 days back. I went to a orthopedic and he suggested tests again. My CRP is 157 and ESR is 90 and WBC count is 10000. Else my all report came as normal i.e. LFT, KFT, TYPHOID. In the neck X-ray report it was written straightening of cervical spine. Doctor suggested MRI. Report is due on Monday. My concern is my vitamin D level is low and My CRP, ESR and WBC are high and I have stiffness all over my body including pain and stiffness in neck. What could be the reason of CRP, ESR and WBC so high. Is it a sign of some serious issue like HIV or CANCER or its just due to the pain and stiffness. I am a mild smoker (3-4) in a day. I do night shifts and have a hectic schedule. I take a lot of stress and I am sleep deprived. I rarely drink alcohol.

Neck PainThis is cervical pain (neck pain) and that's the reason the pain radiates until the shoulder blades. If you keep ice that would help and along side you can do hot water fermentation. You shall use cervical collar which would help you to reduce the radiating pain ie. Due to the nerve compression.
