Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have gone through the details mentioned. It is difficult to understand why the treatment given took so many changes. Because no where you have mentioned actual tsh, t3 & t4 values. Because levothyroxine is given to treat hypothyroidism, usually when tsh is > 10 mu/l.
Hyperthyroidism is exactly an opposite condition where tsh < 0.01 mu/l. Where there is very high t4 & t3 level. In that methimazole is given usually for 18 months to 2 years. Similarly if that ...more

Daily requirement of salt is 5g or one teaspoon per day. Normal table salt is routinely consumed and is iodised. Excess dosage may cause higher minerals levels and skin changes. Iodised salt daily assures proper iodine and thyroid levels. Take plenty of water. If complaints persist beyond a month consult a physician for finding exact cause of your complaints.

The debate on this is still on. I would advise you to have both pink salt n low sodium table salt in your diet but both in moderation. Table salt is sufficiently iodised and free from any toxic remains after the processing. Pink salt on the other hand is natural unprocessed pure salt with no harmful additives which come from refining. But might have small quantities of toxic substances.
