Dear Lybrate-User,
please consult the psychiatrist who prescribed it to her. If it is with suicidal intent, the psychiatrist may add another drug/ect/therapy/admission to hospital. If it is impulsive, she/he may discuss this issue in therapy. Observe her, if any symptoms come up, take her to hospital for symptomatic treatment.

Dear Abhrajit,
Stalopam plus contains escitalopram and clonazepam. Stop stalopam plus and take stalopam 10 mg for 2-3 weeks. If okay, take stalopam 5 mg for another 2-3 weeks and stop. Remember stopping clonazepam will be more difficult than stopping escitalopram. All the best in your PG

Hello and welcome to Lybrate. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Clonazepam is in a class of medication called benzodiazepine. It is mainly used to control certain type of seizure & also to relieve panic attacks.
Hope I have answered your query. You can contact me for further advice and treatment options. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.
