You seem to have developed specific phobia leading to chronic anxiety. You have developed a non helpful strategy to deal with this anxiety, that is taking a sleeping pill or serenace. This behaviour perpetuates your anxiety rather than help you overcome. You will greatly benefit from counselling and a review in your medications. Please consult for further help.

Seranace is basically for psychosis but dose for psychosis is always more than 5 mg in adults. The dose which is given to you is very low which is given for anxiety or sleep. However this dose doesn't help in depression. Still your psychiatrist is the best person to judge your condition based on your evaluation. You can discuss these concern with him. All the best.

Risperidone is pregnancy category c. Which means use if benefits outweigh the risks. Same for asprito. There are not enough studies to say that the drug is safe during pregnancy. Having said that mental health of mother during and after pregnancy is of utmost importance. So many a times medication is necessary and you should consult a psychiatrist for the same.
Hope this helps. All the best!

Hello friend,
be aware that medicine is just one part of any psychological issues or treatment. Beyond medicine, there are many other actions you need to adopt especially psychotherapy or mindset change techniques, life style changes, relaxation, exercises, diet etc are required to make progress.
Are you following such things in your routine? If not, suggest you to approach a psychologist in parallel to identify the suitable solution.
Feel free to reach me for further assistance.

Your problem is created by your extreme fear to cause anxiety. You must by now know the origin of this fear. Until you deal with this fear you are going to suffer the problems you have listed quite regularly. You will have to work very hard with a counselor for a long time to recover. If you do not cooperate then it is futile and is a gross waste of time, money and opportunity. There is nothing wrong with use of medication since it is used as an addendum to the process of therapy. When the medic...more

It is irritation of diaphragm and you may have to check up and decide on medication .Various agents have been reported to cure hiccups. Chlorpromazine appears to be the drug of choice. Haloperidol and metoclopramide have been used successfully. Several anticonvulsant agents (eg, phenytoin, valproic acid, and carbamazepine) have effectively treated intractable hiccups in typical anticonvulsant doses
