Glycosylated hemoglobin 5.81.

Hello, I have been diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis last year and I also have diabetes from the last 10 years. Now recently through tests, I got to know that I have acute pyelonephritis. Our doctor has given us antibiotics for 4 days and asked us to do the kft again. I just get the kft reports now and I am attaching it here. Please have a look at this. And help me with what should I do next. However, my diabetes is in control now my fasting glucose ranges between 80- 100 and random glucose level ranges between 140- 150. My father-in-law is a CKD patient and he is taking treatment from 2012 with creatinine-3.5 Urea-80. His current levels are: HB: 9.80 Blood sugar: 108.9 Urea: 150 Creatinine: 6.82 GFR: 8 Sodium: 140 Potassium: 4.5 Chloride: 101 Bicarbonates: 25 Urine Analysis: Protein: 30 Blood CA 25 ery/ul Dr. Suggested to go for HD and fix the fistula in hand so that dialysis can be done whenever needed instead of doing in the neck if any emergency. As of now he is not having any symptoms like swelling, nausea, vomiting, itching. He is taking diet food normally and water in take 500 ml per day and urine output is 750 ml per day. In this condition, kindly suggest how to handle the situation whether we need to start dialysis now or continue with medication. If the fistula fixed now, is there any minimum period to start the dialysis?

I am taking thyroxin 50 mg. Thanks.

Hi Hope you are doing good. My wife has developed swelling allover body along with body ache. Joints pain. She feels sleepy all the time. Feels there's no energy left in the body. Talks in a state of drowsiness. She's 31 year old. What might be the problem? Also couple of bruises have suddenly come on her arms. Please help. We consulted a doctor and got her blood tests done too. Everything came normal and healthy. Even INR. Then a friend suggested to get urine test, LFT and Renal FT. These are the results which were highlighted. LFT Globulin (serum) came out to be 3.7 A/G ratio (serum) came out to be 1.19 SGOT (AST) (serum) came out be 76 Renal FT Sodium (serum) came out 135 Chloride (serum) came out 96 Urine Test ketone negative Ph 7 Specific gravity 1.020 Bilirubin negative WBC 25-30 Epithelial cells 20-22 Yeast cells - budding yeast present Can you figure out what the problem is? Continue your anti diabetic and anti hypertensive drug with ecosprin-av and also take symptomatic treatment for prostate and I will suggest you to take Tablet folvite 5mg once a day for six months and tablet vitamin D3 60000iu once a week for six months and as your uric acid levels are high hence if necessary we might start with foxstat
