Hello Lybrate user, we only remove teeth only if it is not performing it's function i.e chewing or aesthetics or is non- restorable. In your case you being 32 I wouldn't recommend the extraction. Yes implant can replace missing teeth but implant has a life of maximium 15 years what after that. I think you should selectively remove those tooth which are too mobile to keep them. Hope this helps.

Extraction of premolar teeth is required in certain patients during braces treatment. It helps in proper positioning and alignment of your remaining teeth and correction of bite. The desired results would not be achieved if you don't follow the treatment advised to you by the treating Doctor.

Wisdom teeth extraction sometimes a difficult process specially when it is impacted in the bone. In that case the bone is cut and the tooth extraction is performed. Occasionally there is pain for 3-4 days and in some cases upto 7 days also. If you have followed the instructions given by your dentist after extraction you will be fine. And if the pain still persists for a long period then go for a follow up to your dentist. Thank you.

An ice pack applied to the area will keep swelling to a minimum. Take pain medications as prescribed. The swelling usually subsides after 48 hours.
Drink lots of fluid and eat nutritious soft food on the day of the extraction. You can eat normally as soon as you are comfortable.
