Dear lybrate-user. I hope you know about bipolar disorder. According to the severity of the symptoms, it could take around 6 months to 5 years for treatment. Some bipolar patients have to continue medicines throughout their life. Work with your psychiatrist for an earlier cure. Take care.

Mr. lybrate-user, you do not get addicted to mirtazapine. There can be some withdrawal symptoms such as sleeplessness, irritability, but not with such a small dose.

by this time of 6 months, you might have developed tolerance to sedation of mirtazapine. So, you may not feel lethargic or drowsy due to mirtazapine. If you skip the dose, it takes again 2-3 weeks to start its action. Not a good idea. You can ask your doctor for a non sedating antidepressant in the next follow up.

It's very difficult to answer your question, as we are not allowed to write prescription here. Also, we do not know what are the medications you took for your condition in the past ('all' is too generic).
All the current medications are good, and proven for long term efficacy.
