Unfortunately thr is no such medicine for type 1 diabetic you have to be insulin dependent and thats the sad part.

No dear lybrate-user there is no connection between high insulin levels and dark circles. Dark circles are due to genetic reasons, thyroid, lack of sleep, working for long hrs in front of computer without sunscreen, pigmentary distinction lines, excessive smoking, too much expisure to sun, deficient vit D levels.

Diabetes is a syndrome which can affect each and every organ system of our body. Most commonly affected organs are kidneys, Heart,Eyes, Feet,and brain. Beside it makes our body more prone to infections. Actually in type 2 diabetes Insulin resistance is more important than absolute levels of Insulin. Mr Naveen, You have been advised to take insulin injection, means the blood sugar levels to begin with must have been very high. Diabetes mellitus is a disease occurring due deficiency of Insulin hormone secreted by Islets of Langerhans in pancreas. So the treatment has to be providing Insulin.
In almost every T2 DM patient as the disease progresses, giving Insulin becomes necessary as only oral drugs do not control the disease.
