you probably do not have hypothyroidism as your symptoms are non specific and your free t4 and tsh are normal. Your weight gain is probably related to the total cessation of physical activity after 6 months and the steroid injections but now that you are not on steroids that does not explain why you remain so overweight. It is difficult to understand why one would take Dexona (dexamethasone) tablets for weight increase. It is strong corticosteroid. Plus Cyproheptadin 4 mg, is also absolutely useless for weight increase. Since there is no mention about height and weight, I can hardly comment. Keep in mind to inform any doctor you consult for your baby in future to inform about this event to prevent further damage. Secondly you didn't mention how bad the hearing loss is.
