Throughout life. Allopathy controls well, does not cure diabetes etc.
My suggestion is to switch to herbals gradually, initially taking it parallel to allopathy with some gap. No interaction of herbs with your current medicines. However you can not take the risk of quitting allopathy abruptly.

If mitral stenosis and regurgitation have already developed and are secondary to rhd, there is no way to reverse it, rather you should focus on how it doesn't progress further and don't lead to any complications. Long term treatment is needed, probably life long. If anybody claims to reverse it with medicines, he is lying and misleading you.
