Do not stop without psychiatrist advise. As Bipolar disorder is an episodic one and the medications help to prevent and reduce the severity of episodes if it occurs. But compared to olimelt there are better medications to control your mood symptoms, so you need to consult your psychiatrist for the same.

It also seems like you know that the medications lithosun 400 mg twice daily and dicorate 1 gm, have been working as well. Now recently patient has slight symptoms of irritability and your question of whether olimelt can be given for this can only be answered if you could explain to us why it was prescribed earlier and why it was stopped.
