Vortioxetine can be taken any time in the day. Yes, it causes stomach upset including nausea which usually resolves in 5-7 days. You can add an anti-emetic medicine like pantop-dsr for few days to tackle the side effects. It usually remits in a week and is not dangerous. If it does not goes off, we need to discontinue vortioxetine and switch to an alternative after discussion with a psychiatrist. Melatonin can be taken with clonazepam without any serious interactions.
