I'm planning for a baby. My wifes reports are normal. My semen analysis has a good count but very low motility and dead sperms are 75%, which I think is a reason that I did not have baby so far. I am taking ferbomid 25 and paternia xt tablets as per doctor's advise. One month I took the medicine n then stopped it. But no luck. Can you please suggest something to me.

A sperm needs 90 days to get fully formed normally,so you need to take the medicines continuously for 3 months, then check semen again. Dont lose heart please.

You can plan for iui in the next cycle. 7mil count is little less, so you may repeat iui upto 3-4 times if you do not conceive in the first cycle. Of course this depends on various other factors as well.

You need atleast 2 reports to diagnose azoospermia .if second report is also same then you need biopsy to know weather it's obstructive or non obstructive .if it is obstructive means you have sperm in your testis then further treatment should be given.

Hi, I am 33 years old and my sperm count is 58 ml however motility is 25 %(20+5).approx 6 month back it was 10 ml and 30%.I am taking Paternia xt from last 6 months. Sperm count has definitely increased but motility is not improving. Kindly guide me. My height is 175 cm My Weight is 100 kg Hb1ac-6.2, FBS-95 mg PPT-127.Please guide me for that.

I have sugar level of 6.6 prolactin level of 11.4 and thyroid of 1.33. And condition of asthenozoospermia condition in semen. Doctor said paternia xt tablet to improve the sperm motility. Can I have child in normal way. Is the medication right. Any valuable suggestion. Should I go for advanced tests if any. I get skin cuts during intercourse. This happens often. When I was giving sample for semen test. My balls were paining. I thought it is due to kidney stone (4 years before had stone and got off with syrup itself) later I gone for abdomen ultra sound and found no kidney stones. I wonder why I got that pain in balls.
