Stop watching tv or mobile phone etc atleast an hour before going to sleep. Drink warm milk before going to bed. Even if you not able to sleep do not start chatting on what's app or face book etc. Don't sleep till late in morning. Eat healthy well balanced food. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours befor...more

Hi lybrate-user. While medication can help you reduce anxiety, working on the triggers can benefit in the long run. One way is to observe your bodily reactions as you feel anxiety and panic. You can also name your emotions and do mindfulness exercises. Meditation, physical activity, and doing some activities you enjoy throughout the day can help as well.
Do let me know if you would like to talk to me about this.

Hello,
Lonazep is a Benzodiazepine which is used as sleeping pills or immediate anxiety relief. This is not your main medication for depression. Long term use of lonazep can cause dependence. Consult nearby psychiatric centre or consult online for proper management.

- Also yoga will be helpful
-Lonazep 0.25 mgs is good for short term use to manage anxiety. It is not recommended for long term use. Try to cut down to 1/2 tablet for the next 2 weeks and then stop
- If anxiety persists beyond a month, you can consider couselling/CBT psychological therapy. Another medication from SSRI group ca...more

Hi lybrate-user.
In addition to medicines, addressing what's keeping you awake and making you anxious might be more helpful. I practice cbt and use various relaxation techniques to help with sleep, overthinking and anxiety. Setting a pre-bed routine and getting some physical activity can help you. Switching off your devices an hour before can be beneficial as well.

If the tests are all normal, you are inducing these symptoms by over reaction. Definitely fear has a lot to do with your problems. Anxiety itself, has all to do with fear and your inability (or so you would tend to think) to handle the same. Fear is based on looking too much into the future and imagining things that usually do not tend to happen (usually 90% of your fears will not happen). You need to change your perception of the fearful stimulus then you can change your response to the fear. T...more
