Lomibact 3Mg Drop

Lomibact 3Mg Drop is prescribed for the treatment of bacterial infections including nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, lungs (bronchitis) and urinary tract. It inhibits production of essential protein required by the bacteria.

This medicine falls under the category of a quinolone antibiotic, hence is not effective against cold and flu. It is given to in patients undergoing trans-rectal or transurethral surgical procedures, to prevent infection. It is effective against gram-positive as well as gram-negative like E.coli, Neisseria gonorrhoea, S. pneumoniae and salmonella.

Other side effects of using this medicine include confusion, depression, agitation, anxiety, hallucinations, tremor, irregular heartbeat, joint, muscle, tendon pain or swelling, vaginal irritation or discharge, changes in hearing or vision and sugar level imbalance.
