Hi lybrate-user
hypothyroidism is a major cause of hair fall. Since you have recently started thyroid medication it may take some time to show effecf. Meanwhile you can also apply minoxidil lotion 2%. Hair fall would take some time to slow down. Be patient. If you need further advice you can consult.

It can be the result of heredity, hormonal changes, medical conditions or a normal part of aging. Anyone can lose hair on their head, but it's more common in men. Baldness typically refers to excessive hair loss from your scalp. Hereditary hair loss with age is the most common cause of baldness.

You have PCOD as seen in USG. Diet can be controlled in hostel too. Avoid heavy dinner, use only 2 chapatees and salads, avoid sweets. Take 2 rottees and onion curry for breakfast. Take 3 vegetable sandwiches, and curd for lunch. (Keep some vegetables in room) Walk for an hour in hostel premises. PCOD is not a big disease to be cured. Good luck.
