Sir myself 33 years old have a baby of 4 months. I had panic attack and anxiety disorder before pregnancy also. I had on medicine before and got relief. But after conceiving I stopped it. But sometime it occurred. Have high bp also. Now I am on breastfeeding. Taking stamlo 5 on doctors advice. But the thing is that I have starting the anxiety disorder again lev weakness haed heaviness .and the thing is that because I have high bp. I feel like I am going to pass out or having stroke. Please do something sir. Tillmy baby will six months .this things is ruining my family life and can not concentrating the things though I am handling my kid as per as I can and I have to.

I think that having a baby is quite stressful and you should not have stopped the medication. Anyway, you should have combined medication with counselling because you can get some skills and techniques to help you cope from counseling. I am a 22-year-old girl and at 21 I was sleeping and when I woke up I found myself in the emergency because of the cries. When I wake up I start nauseous and I don't remember anything because I be asleep when it happens to me like this, then I go to the neurologist here give me urbanyl and I do eeg and tdm I don't have any problems then 2 months the doctor tell to take the half of urbanyl then after 3 month I have two other crises in the same day and when I was asleep I do irm I don't have problem jut sunisite the doctor now give me keppra 1cp and urbanyl 1cp in day I want diagnostic in my pathologies I don't know when I have the problem i'm forgetting and i've never been before, at times I get really nervous or feel like i'm getting depressed the last time it happened to me two, I forgot two days as if I only remember some of them.

From the medications it can be gathered you are on treatment for seizure disorder. In generalised seizures the affected person loses consciousness and does not know what is happening. The doctor or your family should have explained this to you. It is surprising you do not know. Take medications as advised by your neurologist. Good luck.

Hello doctor, approximately one and half month back my mother had seizures for which she was admitted in emergency. Mri brain contrast was done and it showed one lesion of 4 mm and low grade glioma. She is on epilive 500 mg two times. Now we had to follow up so again mri was done which showed now three lesions in some cms and it says high grade glioma. I wanted to know is it possible to low grade glioma to turn into high grade glioma in a span of one and a half months. If not, should I get mri done again. Please help. Thank you.

Dear Sir .My daughter is 9 month old & when she was 3 month old one day she got trembling her arms so we connect to a local doctor told us for EEG & it was identified as seizure. Doctor prescribed us Levepsy .5 ml twice a day Benadon 40 tab 1/2 from her 3rd month .Its already 6 month passed we continue this medication & Gods grace she hasn't seizure tendency from last 6 month. What I studied when she awake from sleep she down her head & gradually comes normal. Kindly suggest whether this medication have any side effects on baby growth?

We should be giving medication usually for five years with a followup of three months for now and side effects needs to be monitored after clinical examination

Side effects needs to be monitored monthly and remember treatment depends on benefits outweigh the risks and if symptomatic for seizures than it can cause more brain damage and so take monthly followup

I was having a problem of getting total unconscious for a time of 2 to 3 minutes in a gap of 2-3 months since last 10 years. Mri was normal but neurologist had put me on levetiracetam 500 mg twice in a day for a period of 3 years. Since then I have not got unconscious. Three years of taking meds are completing after 3 months. I am afraid that after slowly reducing and quitting medicine my problem may come back. Is it ok to quit the medicine without any future complications or relapse of the unconsciousness problem? Please guide and clear my doubt.

Good morning Dr. I am a 43 years old african american woman with a personal hx of htn (i had a seizure last year last year, due to sleep deprivation and stress. My neurologist has me taking keppra 500 mg bid. I haven’t had any additional seizures). I also have a personal hx of high cholesterol and my pcp has me taking the following meds: losartan, carvedilol, folic acid and nifedipine. My question: would I be a good candidate for drinking nettle tea? I am originally from the island national of haiti and often use herbal medicine/ remedies to treat and my previously mentioned conditions. Any feedback that you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I of course plan to discuss this with my medical providers before taking it but I wanted to get your professional opinion. Any information that you provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, My mom is 55 years old, she underwent head (brain operation) 11 years ago due to a clot in the head. Currently she is undergoing neurological treatment since she becomes unconscious for few seconds due to seizures in brain. She is consuming, (Oxetol 300+300+150=750 mg, Lacoset 100+100=200 mg, Levepsy 500+500=100 mg and Nexito 10+5=15 mg) per day. Recently she had low blood pressure and we underwent an ecg test and her heart rate was 58. These were the results of ecg (HR 158bpm, PR interval 158ms, QRS duration 82ms, T duration 178ms, QT/Qtc 422/425ms, P/QRS/T Axis 67.4/45.8/46. 4 degree, R (V5) / S (V1) 0.55/0.35mV, R (V5) + S (V1) 0.90mV) Conclusions - Sinus Mode Bradycardia, Cardiac electric axis normal, aVL V4 V5 V6 Abnormal T wave. I assume the heart rate is low due to the medication she is undergoing? Please advise.

These do not usually cause bradycardia. Do a net search, first search for active ingredient of each of these medicines, next search: ingredient adverse effect sinus bradycardia for each of them.

Asked for male, 30 years old from Nashik

My father was felt down on an accident on dated june 24 2019. Then he got injured in his ribs area .he took pain killer then pain goes. After few days he stopped walking, feeling dizziness all time. Then doctor suggested a ct scan it's found a glioma or metastasis. Same result came from mri also. Then pet ct done it's found neoplasm or glioma and a small tissue on lungs d7 vertebra area and also 3 - 4 fracture in his ribs area. Then doctor suggested for ct guide fnac. Which results are normal metastasis found. But now father not able to walking, talking. He is totally on bed. All time feel sleepy. Because of sleeping he doesn't took food today. Pls suggest what should to do. Visit many doctors but no one give assurance. Doctor only give levepsy medicine. Pls suggest. What should be do. Still not done any brain biopsy.

Sorry to know about your father. You mentioned ct guided fnac showed metastasis. From the information you have provided it looks like it is a case of lung cancer with brain and bone metastases. I would suggest you consult a oncologist for further guidance.
