Dear Sir .my daughter is 9 month old & when she was 3 month old one day she got trembling her arms so we connect to a local doctor told us for EEG & it was identified as seizure. Doctor prescribed us Levepsy .5 ml twice a day Benadon 40 tab 1/2 from her 3rd month .Its already 6 month passed we continue this medication & Gods grace she hasn't seizure tendency from last 6 month. What I studied when she awake from sleep she down her head & gradually comes normal. Kindly suggest whether this medication have any side effects on baby growth?
Side effects needs to be monitored monthly and remember treatment depends on benefits outweigh the risks and if symptomatic for seizures than it can cause more brain damage and so take monthly followup
