diabetes diet plays a very important role. You need to be very particular about food choices & timings to control blood glucose levels. Even medicines will not work properly unless you are particularly about food choices. I would suggest you to properly follow the do's and don't of diabetes so to control the blood glucose levels.

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. However, there is no mention about actual fasting & after food blood glucose, as well as hba1c%. Without knowing these important facts no comments can be made about the treatment.
Secondly, if one has confirmed diabetes then treatment has to be taken every day. Since one eats every day then drugs also are required to control the glucose rise every day.
Another important aspects is that with a bmi (body mass index) of 39....more

According to the treatment you are getting, I can see the effort of your doctor. I think you should consider taking insulin atleast for one time in a day to control it along with your medication. As you have hba1c of 10.8, it's good for your health to start insulin atleast once daily. Pls consult to your doctor about it or you can consult me online m.

In pt of pcod there is increased insulin resistance ,metformin being a insulin sensitizer drug decreases the insulin resistance, it also helps in reducing wt and in ovulation. Total dose is 1500 mg taken in 2 or 3 divided doses.
Lifestyle changes for wt reduction should also be adopted.

Hello, Madam thanks for the query.
You have mentioned about having T2 DM but no thing about present control (Fasting, PP glucose levels & HbA1c%). No word about , diet and extent of exercise being done. By looking at your weight & height, with a BMI of 28.51 kgs/Sq meter, you are close to being in grade 1 obesity. Your ideal weight should be about 54 kgs.
Therefore, it is possible that there is back ache, due to no exercise and excess weight. Or there could be some problem with your ba...more
