Dear Lybrateuser, - Hunger & feeling is controlled by the satiety centre of the brain
- to avoid feeling hungry follow some precautions: - chew your food well & eat slowly, have a protein food item with each meal, have 4-5 small meals rather than three large meals, drink a glass of water half an hour before each meal & otherwise also 8-10 glasses per day for proper hydration, have 2-3 snacks between meals like yogurt, a fruit, nuts, sprouts

- Check your blood sugar levels
- also have more of protein foods like eggs, lean meats, milk & milk products, beans, lentils, pulses, tofu, soya products, nuts
- combine a protein food with each of your meals & also have as a snack in between meals to provide you energy & to reduce your hunger
- drink plenty of oral fluids including 7-8 glasses of water to reduce appetite & for proper hydration.
