Hello doctor, In April 2019, just family checkup revealed high level of ast / alt levels of 129 and 286 respectively. Doctors advised for usg abdomen and results of usg were- liver is enlarged in size (right lobe span 16. 84 cm) and shows uniformly increased parenchymal echogenicity (grade -1 fatty liver). Doctor put me on golbi 300 for first month and results of ast/alt were 69 and 89. Doctor advised me to continue golbi 300 and there after levels started increasing with golbi (in aug 74/ 134 levels of ast/ alt) and in september 108/186 levels with golbi 300 which I took for six months after the initial levels were significantly reduced. Changed doctor - hepatitis b& c were normal, ecg normal and doctor prescribed evion 400 two times a day and there after the levels started reducing. After two months of evion 400 twice a day 108/ 186, third month same dose 95/108 and fourth month 66/95. repeats ultrasound again-this time it shows normal liver size with fatty changes (diffuse grade 1 fatty liver). Now enlarged liver is gone then why alt/ast is not getting normal? For how much time I need to take evion 400 twice a day as I am taking it for last 4 months and causes of high liver enzymes. Cbc/other liver profile test/fbs all are normal. Please suggest best.

No its not effective for such a big gallstone. However at this age if there are no symptoms, surgery can be avoided. But if its synptomatic then there is no other choice than Lap Chole.

They can be taken together. However, atorvastatin is not a medicine for high triglycerides. Instead of medicines, try diet for nafls and high triglycerides. Triglycerides are manufactured in liver from alcohol sugar jaggery and starchy foods, reduce these items in diet. Increase traditional health foods like yoghurt cheese nuts eggs butter vegetable etc which are low in glucose. For more information please discuss on phone. Best wishes.

Dear lybrate-user
You need to strengthen the Liver function for expecting any kind of change in the LFT for which the medication is being given.
There are long term, dedicated natural treatments if you are interested. Ayurveda will help, but for this you have to get in touch with a good doctor who will do a physical examination, pulse diagnosis and then recommend medication.
Regards.
