Dear sir/madam,
I never seen a person who died due diabetes and did not take medicines. So, keep that in mind that only medicine can't make you fit.
A proper diet plan is the main solution for type 2 diabetes.
If you think, you can can contact me directly.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given, there is absolutely no mention of blood glucose levels(Fasting, PP Glucose) & HbA1c%. Also please let me also know diet pattern and extent of daily exercise. As regards the weight loss it can only be understood after going through all the above mentioned details. Thanks.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. I do not see any very low glucose levels at all. Hypoglycemic (low glucose) level is when blood glucose goes < 70 mg. Then that may cause certain symptoms, like mild shivering, uneasiness, blurred vision, clouded thinking, giddiness sweating etc. The levels shown are in fact fairly high particularly after food ones.
Another aspect metformin hardly causes low glucose. If at all any drug contributes to that then it is Glimiperide....more

Mr. Lybrate-user, before I can talk about your diet and daily work out, it appears your blood sugar is totally out of control. If that is not controlled then diet and exercise are not going to help. First is drug treatment has to be improved, so tha fasting is around 100 mg, pp 150 to 160 mg and hba1c% <7. Then only rest of the things to be looked at. So please see that your sugar levels are brought under control. Otherwise you are inviting long term complications of diabetes.
