Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details. Madam normal pH of urine is around 6. So I do not understand why you want it to be around 7. Even though the range of urine pH is between 5 to 8. Thanks.

Hello lybrate-user, your mother is diabetic, her fasting at present is on higher side. Along with fasting and pp blood sugar levels you should do HbA1c test which tells her sugar levels past 3 months. Accordingly what should be added or this much is enough it mother's treating physician will decide. She should take small frequent meals and take proper foot care.

In your case taking into account of your described medical history, you could be having acanthosis nigricans in which the underarms and the back of your neck and the sides on your face can darken. Controlling your insulin levels with medicines and also exercising regularly can help you control the spread. To help you with the existing darkness you will need a consultation with a dermatologist to help you better.
