Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
I have gone through the details given. Her lipid profile seems good, except HDL which is slightly low. Even Hemoglobin also is slightly less. It should be over 12 g/100 ml. However, her blood glucose is very high, showing she has uncontrolled diabetes. Ideally FBG should be <100 mg, PP 160 to 180 mg, HbA1c% <7. This means her present treatment is not helping her. There is a need for additional drug or adjustment of dosage. Plus we will have to look at ...more

Hello lybrate-user ji in your case, there was no surgery performed, and your pancreatitis was treated conservatively, so chances are there that you have to take medicine till you're pancreas heals, for few month to years, not lifetime.
Take care.

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on 29th April while in the fifth day of my period. As a precautionary measure, I had an I pill the next day. On 4th may we had unprotected sex again. And after six hours I had an I pill. After that we had unprotected sex once more. The day before yesterday I noticed spotting and since yesterday I have been bleeding. I wonder if it's my period or withdrawal bleeding. My period was expected on 17th may. Is this bleeding a sure shot sign of no pregnancy? Should I take a pregnancy test beta hcg test? My period lasts six days and I have a 23-24 day cycle. How long should I wait before going to the gynecologist to get checked for my cycle? I suffer from hypertension and take 5 mg amlip. I take trenaxa mf during my periods. Kindly guide me on this regard.. I am 35 weigh 60 kgs my height is 5'3. This was my second experience of sex ever in my life.

Yes, this is withdrawal bleeding. Also in your case, as you have already taken ipill and you have also got withdrawal bleeding, this means that you are surely not pregnant.
Also, you have mentioned that you are hypertensive and already taking bp medicines, I think you should be cautious in taking contraceptive pills, especially those which contain high amounts of oestrogen, as oestrogen might cause a slight increase in your blood pressure.
To get information regarding which contraceptive...more

Pcod is a disease where there is a hormonal imbalance. Depending on your complaints, examination, reports, and stage of life treatment differs, and it also needs more time to get yourself treated with patience. Meet gynecologist in whom you have trust as you will need to go for a long time to him/her. Overweight is very common so in case you have that reduction of weight helps tremendously.
