Hello. Please check your hemoglobin as anemia can cause weakness. Also regularly check esr & crp to monitor the disease, as you may need higher doses of methotrexate. The need to take painkiller on regular basis means your disease is not under control and modification of medicine dosage is warranted.

I have seen the details mentioned. As I understand you have hypothyroidism since 10 years and you are on 125 mcg. However, there is no mention of current t3, t4 & tsh levels. Because if hypothyroidism is under good control then all the symptoms related to that condition are in control. Hello, The site of pain you just mentioned made me think it as retrocalcaneal bursitis or calcaneal spur. Pls get the xrays done first. X ray both heel lat view. Picture will be clear after that. Feel free to share any past records with me to guide you further on treatment.

Lybrate-user, if hypothyroidism is well in check with tsh around 3 to 4 milli units/l most symptoms related are almost fully controlled. If still pain persists it is better to get uric acid checked, to see if it is high (>7 mg/dl). Another important aspect is to regular exercise, particularly both aerobic activity and strength building, that will help in controlling body pain. Taking pain killers often is not good. Thanks.
