Etrobax 120 MG Tablet, known as Arcoxia internationally, is a non-steroidal anti inflammatory drug (NSAID) which is used to treat symptoms of psoriatic arthritis, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It brings relief to people affected by acute pain, chronic musculoskeletal pain and treats acute gouty arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. It belongs to cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) specific inhibitors class of medicines which reduce pain and inflammation by blocking the pain causing enzymes (COX-2) in the body.Etrobax 120 MG Tabletcomes as a tablet to be taken by mouth and is only prescribed when its alternate medicines have not helped in the treatment.

The dosage should be kept low and it should not be used longer than prescribed as it may put you at risk of heart attacks and strokes. The recommended dosage is 60 to 120 mg of the medicine to be taken once daily. It should not be taken by people suffering from peptic ulcers, stroke, severe heart disease and hypersensitivity. Studies have foundEtrobax 120 MG Tabletto be harmful to be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding stages. It is also not recommended for children below 16 years of age. It works well on adults and elderly people.

Common side effects ofEtrobax 120 MG Tablet are indigestion, abdominal pain, stomach upset, constipation or diarrhoea, swollen ankles, fluid retention, palpitations, headache, high blood pressure, feeling dizzy or tired and other flu-like symptoms. If you experience any of the following then stop the consumption of this medicine and consult your doctor immediately.

Etrobax 120 MG Tablet is used for relieving swelling, stiffness, and pain of joints caused due to Rheumatoid arthritis.
Etrobax 120 MG Tablet is also used for the symptomatic treatment of Ankylosing spondylitis. This disease causes swelling of the spine and large joints.
Acute Gout
Etrobax 120 MG Tablet is also used to relieve pain and swelling of joints associated with gout.
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients having a history of allergy to it or any other component of the medicine. It should not be taken if you have experienced an allergic reaction to any other medicine belonging to the same class of medicines.
Peptic Ulcer
This medicine is not recommended if you have peptic ulcer or other conditions that cause swelling and bleeding of the stomach. It could cause severe swelling and bleeding in the stomach, colon, and anus as well.
In addition to its intended effect, Etrobax 120 MG Tablet may cause some unwanted effects too. In such cases, you must seek medical attention immediately. This is not an exhaustive list of side effects. Please inform your doctor if you experience any adverse reaction to the medication.

It's better to shift your treatment to Ayurveda. If she undergo detoxification therapy there is all chance to recover. She needs strict diet plan. Switch to ayurvedic treatment as soon as possible. Following medicines can be given. Cap Arjit forte 2-2-2 for 45 days. Rasnaerandadi saptadi khada 15 ml twice with equal warm water before food. Take hot fomentation.

Continue your medications on a regular basis along with low protein diet and regular exercises and relieve pain thr physiotherapy means.

Taking eterocoxib for long duration is not recommenced Pain is due to stiffness n that increases in cold Try to keep yourself warm during this period Do regular swimming or similar exercises in which all joints of body are used n movements occur.
