You may have urethral syndrome, which is common at your age. Usually starts after menopause. Cause is deficiency of oestrogens. Start tab hytrin 1 mg daily at night. But get urine test done for infection and ultrasound kub with pvr done.

I have seen the details mentioned. As I understand you have hypothyroidism since 10 years and you are on 125 mcg. However, there is no mention of current t3, t4 & tsh levels. Because if hypothyroidism is under good control then all the symptoms related to that condition are in control. Lybrate-user, if hypothyroidism is well in check with tsh around 3 to 4 milli units/l most symptoms related are almost fully controlled. If still pain persists it is better to get uric acid checked, to see if it is high (>7 mg/dl). Another important aspect is to regular exercise, particularly both aerobic activity and strength building, that will help in controlling body pain. Taking pain killers often is not good. Thanks.

Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against repeat 10 times, twice a day.
Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube ornormal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day.
