amlodipine requires one month for full effect. metoprolol is less effective in seniors. you can discuss about thiazide with your dr if BP stays high

Firstly Don't worry.
Blood pressure Keeps fluctuating in everyone depending upon our physical & psychological stress levels.(BP sabh mein upar neeche hote rehta hai. Stress mein jyada aur rest mein Kam hota hai ).
 
you need to take a digital BP machine & keep a BP record (Digital BP machine le lo.(see my video on how to use it properly. Aur khud ka BP check karo.

Before measuring your blood pressure, lie down, close your eyes, relax for 2 min and then ask someone to measure your blood pressure. Take an average reading by measuring 2 to 3 times a day for 3 days.

Metoprolol and all beta blocker medicines can cause nasal stuffiness. If you have been diagnosed with allergic rhinitis, other drugs may be better for you.

Yes for time being but tartarate is short acting so till the time you are not getting it you can have it or replace with some other good available salt for hypertension.
