Hello Lybrate User before starting any Antidepressant I suggest you should get yourself examined for all possible contributing factors. This often helps decide treatment options. Please get yourself examined by psychiatrist in person.

Don't stop any medication without your doc's advice.
If you suddenly stop a medicine, the effect from the previous days carry on for some more days; that's why you feel better. Eventually the medicine will lose its effects & you won't feel good.

Hello both are antidepressants. Rexipra is a SSRI and zyven is a SNRI. Both drug belong to different class of antidepressants and both help in depression. Both are efficacious drug and depending om patient profile they are chosen. For bipolar illness you need a mood stabilizer. Antidepressant can switch you to high phase if you are having bipolar illness. Discuss with your practitioner before starting any medication. You can consult me for any help required.

Dear Ankita,
You can take Escitalopram on empty stomach or with food or after food, as long as you don't forget to take it. It is better to connect it with food to remember
